Alpha & Beta Testing

Host multiple pre-alpha, alpha and beta tests

Depending on your needs you have the flexibility to run multiple tests at the same time, overlapping or after each other. The testers and the testing goals can be easily shared among tests.

How to invite and manage handpicked beta testers

With our landing page builder you can easily build a small website that you can hand out to your testers for them to sign up. Each landing page can be customized with data fields which the testers have to provide while signing up. You can use this fields to gather any relevant information about your testers that you require for your test. This could be for example business name, country code, previous experience, etc..
Once the testers signed up, they receive a confirmation email and will show up in your tester database.

Continuous Improvement in beta testing

Each test can be compared to any other tests and measured how the test results have changed. This knowledge helps you shape the testing strategy of the next test, thus continually improving with each (test) iteration.

Types of tests

Many different variation of tests are available such as alpha, pre-alpha, open beta (public beta), closed beta (private beta), hybrid and perpetual beta.

A/B start page and participation tracker

When you open testing you often want to shift some testers to version A and some tester to version B without implementing that logic into your web application just for a beta test. With our start page you can just do that. It also tracks how many tester were forwared to your applications.

A direct wire to your testers

We provide you with a convenient way to email your beta testers the latest information of your beta test in a personalized way. All previous communications on who received which information is stored for reasons of clarity and comprehensibility.
Instead of email also slack can be used.

Define goals for beta testers

Equip your testers with specific goals and instructions what you want them to test in each alpha or beta test. This helps you to build high quality web application by focusing on specific aspects to be tested.

Get specific feedback

Embed our feedback module into your web application so beta testers can create context-aware feedback tickets for you which describe their expericence in your web application and help you to make necessary changes.

Explain your web application vividly

Help your testers get to know and navigate through your web application by embedding our onboarding module. Our interactive onboarding technology explains complex settings in a clearer and more entertaining way than tedious reading of documentation pages.

context-aware feedback tickets

Getting a precise ticket description is key to effectivly tackle an issue. Therefore each ticket will offer you with the context the testers experienced.

A variety of ticket types

No feedback is a like, but some fit into the same category. We offer several types of bespoke feedback types to make it easy for testers to provide feedback as well as for those who work on these tickets. These types are Feature Request, Bug, comment, Compliment, Complaint and question. Each type has type-specific functionalities to support a smooth ticket workflow.

How to get rolling with onboarding and feedback?

Adding our module is easy. Just embed our generic Addin Module into your web application and activate Feedback Box and/or Onboarding. When the testers now open your web application in the browser a feedback/onboarding button will appear. From that on it's all just a click away.

Application Onboarding: Why read when you can experience it?

Our onboarding technology focuses on demonstrating real world web application usage rather than providing lengthy documentations. Following links, clicking buttons, filling out forms. Generate an onboarding experience for your users just as lifelike as you would be sitting next to them.

Achieve full documentation coverage

Users expect to find documentation on how to use every aspect of your web applicaiton. Our tech will inform you which parts of your web application are missing onboarding coverage, so you can extend the onboarding and achieve a full-depth onboarding.
